The Fantasticks:
The Fantasticks begins as a classic story of forbidden love between a boy and girl. But do not be fooled by the beginning. In fact, it is quickly revealed that the parents of the boy and the girl feigned the entire feud to trick their children into falling in love. What follows is the journey after the fantasy of love falls apart and gives way to the realities of the world.
Originally produced in 1960, the Fantasticks remains a timeless story of our human struggle between fantasy and reality and remembering that life is a blend of both. With music by Harvey Schmidt and book by Tom Jones, you will feel transported into this timeless journey.
