About PJ’s Playbook:
PJ, an intense sports dad, struggles to connect with his non-athletic, 17 year-old son. Frustrated with his inability to provide the necessary coaching, he searches for a way to win as a father. For him, all of life is a competition, and you are either winning or losing. Through dinner with “friends”, PJ spars with the outspoken Marissa, a different kind of coach, who is eager to highlight PJ’s many shortcomings. This dramedy explores the dynamics among husbands and wives, parents and children, and friends and frenemies over the course of an evening.
